Mediation Services

Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) helps disputing parties reach a mutually agreeable solution. At GMAC, we focus on collaborative resolution—preserving relationships while resolving conflicts fairly and efficiently.

GMAC Arbitration Clause

International Applicability Statement:

1. Global Recognition

The Global Mediation & Arbitration Center (GMAC) administers arbitration proceedings pursuant to internationally recognized legal frameworks, including the 1958 New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (“New York Convention”).

Under the New York Convention, arbitration awards rendered by GMAC in the United States or other member jurisdictions are recognized and enforceable in over 170 countries and regions worldwide.

2. Legal Effect

A duly executed contract containing the GMAC Arbitration Clause constitutes a legally binding agreement to arbitrate, enforceable under both the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §1 et seq.) of the United States and the arbitration statutes of other jurisdictions.

The arbitration award rendered by GMAC is final, conclusive, and binding, and may be submitted to any court of competent jurisdiction for recognition and enforcement.

3. Neutrality and Bilingual Accessibility

GMAC maintains full institutional independence and neutrality.

Its arbitration services may be conducted in English and/or Chinese, eliminating language and cultural barriers that often impede fair dispute resolution.
